What type of network do I need? The Goal Light works on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. It is ideal to use your guest network not your regular home network for best results.

Can I use this anywhere or does it only work where it was set up? The Goal Light will work anywhere there’s a 2.4 GHz network. If you use it at the same location every time it will remember your username and password to log into your network. If you go to a new location, you’ll need to go to the app on your phone and to the Wi-Fi network that you’re at.

Can I change my sports subscription? The Goal Light requires a subscription to operate. You can add or remove sports at any time from the user dashboard. Lifetime memberships are locked into the sport which you’ve purchased it for and cannot be changed. You need to add additional add-on sports.

How can I factory reset it? You may experience a situation in which you were not able to resolve the light working properly from the app. In the event that you need to do a factory reset you can go to the website and download the latest version for your specific light model and reinstall it from a PC. This will wipe the software on the light giving you a fresh start..

Does the horn need to be on? The Goal Light will work, even if the speaker is off. In addition, the audio jack will always be on for plugging into an external stereo system. Do not use both the speaker and the audio jack at the same time.

What does the push button on the base do? The push button on the base does the same as the manual button on the app. It remembers the settings for both the color and function of the light. It does not need to be tracking a live game. You can push it at any time to activate it and the horn manually.

I have subscriptions for all three sports will they track all of them at the same time? No the light can only track one sport at a time. You will need to go into the app and manually change the sport to the one you’re currently watching for it to be tracking that game.

I am having trouble getting the app to automatically open when I click on Goal-Light in my Wi-Fi. You can use any devices web browser to access the configuration page. Connect to the Goal-Light Wi-Fi and open any browser and enter 192.168.4.1. This is also written on the bottom of the light.

What are the different light alerts that blink? The light has advanced technology to notify you with the alert system, by various colors as to the status of your light. It will periodically blink a single color to notify you. This is not a malfunction it is updating you of the status.
