STEP 2: Connect With Phone
***DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THIS SETUP UNTIL YOU COMPLETE THE PC SETUP ABOVE OR IT WILL MAKE YOUR LIGHT UNABLE TO CONNECT.
Make sure that you got to the finish page on the PC setup above and the red light went off during setup. If it did not then run the setup again.
1) From the beginning unplug the light turn off the speaker restart your phone once your phone has restarted plug in the light and turn on the speaker. Wait for the speaker to say "connected"
2) Then go to your phones wifi and pick goal light and wait for the app to open .
3) Then go to your phones wifi and pick goal light and wait for the app to open (Android users need to open a browser and type 192.168.4.1).
4) VERY IMPORTANT you must use your GUEST WiFi NETWORK not your home wifi network. Or the light will not track properly. You might need to enable this on your Wi-Fi router to turn on the guest network if you don’t see it on the list of networks.
The router has firewalls on your home network and may prevent the light from properly tracking games. The guest network does not have these firewalls and is uninhibited.
5) If you are getting wrong username and password. When your on the Goal Light user login page. This is NOT a problem with your light account. This problem is because it is not able to connect to your guest network. Or it is not a 2.4 GHz network.
6) If your login was correct it will take you to the team configuration page. This is where you can set your team and light color functions. The light will then save your settings and you do not need to do this again. Everytime you plug in the light, it will first check for updates and update the software, then it will begin tracking your last saved settings.
